We then design a professional book cover based on your needs and desires, as well as your target market. We'll send through 'WIP's (Works In Progress) to make sure you are happy with how the concept is going, or need to request tweaks before finalisation. We'll also do simple book cover mockups with appropriate fonts (often handmade unique typography) to see what looks most appealing.
The final book cover design will be made up according to the exact dimensions (including spine width) and specifications provided by your book printer or book publisher. If you're self publishing (e.g Amazon Self Publishing), we'll need the final manuscript to work out the spine width of the book.
Finally, we also do 3D book cover mockup which you can use for promoting your book in adverts and social media, and as graphics for your website, even before you have physical copies. They tend to look better than photos too because the lighting and scene is professionally rendered by our 3D artist.

This book cover was a private commission for a scifi thriller featuring cryogenics and bionic soldiers. The author described the layout she had in mind, and provided photos of people she thought would suit the roles of the characters. Our book cover artist, Roxane Lapa, provided a concept sketch which the client approved and then went onto paint the full cover (front and back), sending WIPs to the client to ensure the correct direction was being maintained. Our 3D artist, José created a 3D mockup of the book for markwting purposes.
This book cover was a private commission for a historical fiction set during the famous Battle of the Bulge. The author provided a photo of the type of features she wanted the soldier to have, as well as a photo of the basic uniform and some scenes from the war for use as potential backgrounds. Our book cover artist, Roxane Lapa, provided a concept sketch which the client approved and then went onto paint the full cover (front and back), sending WIPs to the client to ensure the correct direction was being maintained. We also gritted up the cover text to give it a wartime feel.
This book cover was a commission for a SciFi series about an organic spaceship. The client provided very specific instructions for how the ship should look and an idea of what the scene should look like. We conceptualised and tweaked the spaceship until he was happy and also provided thumbnail sketches of the layout before proceeding to polish the chosen version.
