Web Design Articles How to Find Out Your Windows Username

There are a variety of reasons why one might need to determine what their Windows username is. One example is when you need to paste your email signature files into a folder within your User profile. knowing what your username is can simplify this process.

  1. On your keyboard, hold down the 'Ctrl' and 'Shift' keys at the same time, and while holding both, press the 'Esc' key

  2. In the Windows Task Manager that pops up, select the 'Users' tab where your username will be listed
