MORE ON WEB MARKETING

Simple SEO

Most companies that offer SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) are really only offering you what a good web designer should have done in the beginning. Correct implementation of Title tags, meta data, H1 tags, alt attributes, webcrawler-friendly navigation etc are all simple SEO concepts, but also evidence of good web design. If we build a website, we do it properly, and that means that simple SEO is included at no extra cost. Additionally, we provide Google with an xml sitemap so that your pages are indexed quicker.

Directory Submissions

This entails manually submitting copious amounts of forms to various International, local, and, where possible, industry-specific website directories for the sole purpose of letting them know your site exists and what it's about. The directories that choose to include your site in their listings provide you with two advantages. The first and foremost advantage is a valuable one-way link, which in the eyes of Google is seen as a vote of confidence. The second advantage is the potential of picking up customers directly from these directories. This is a once-off service. Many SEO companies will want to make this a monthly service so that you have to pay every month, but, if done correctly, it only needs to happen once, and repeatedly submitting your site to the same directories over and over will result in your site being banned from some of these.

Serious Web Marketing

For most companies, the above techniques coupled with a bit of patience is sufficient. If, however, your market sector is very competitive, and you need to do more in order to increase your website's visibility, you might consider hiring a company that specialises in web marketing in order to try more in depth techniques. In this event, I urge you to bring any offers from SEO companies to us before agreeing to any terms. In this way, we can determine if the company is simply going to try and sell you that which has already been done, or if they have something worthwhile to offer you. Please note that this free analysis is only available to our own clients.
